A Fashionable GPS Sport Watch
Now, the 405CX is also sleek. It’s the first model in the Garmin line that is based on advanced technology, like its predecessors, and at the same time fashionable. It just looks nice, and it’s ok to wear every day. It looks sporty, sure. But it won’t look out of place.
Now, a cool feature of the 405CX is its touch bezel. You basically control it by means of a touch screen on the bezel. And this is very useful when working out, as you don’t have to deal anymore with tiny buttons. The 405CX is also water resistant.
Another big feature of the Garmin Forerunner 405CX is the ANT+ system, which is essentially a wireless system that allows the 405 to automatically upload recorded data to your computer as soon as it gets in range.
You can also upload the data to the Garmin community site. This is cool, because you can compare performance data with other users, create charts of your performance, and so on.
And what if you’re indoors?
There’s a pedometer sensor (not included) that allows you to track your steps when the GPS signal is not available.
The Ultimate Virtual Trainer
A nice feature is the Virtual Partner. It basically creates a virtual companion with whom you’re running, and you can track their position and performance, and see how you’re performing against them.
All in all, the Garmin Forerunner 405CX is the ultimate GPS Sport Watch, and some may argue that it can become your virtual trainer when doing workouts, runs and cycling.
It’s loaded with training features, and it’s really the computerized tech assistant for working out.
Garmin Forerunner 405CX Review: Highly Recommended.
